LARRY: Welcome back to Something More! I want to talk about the evidence of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2, chapter 2. We read about how when the Spirit of God is being poured out in the Last Days, which by the way we’re living in the Last Days! We’ve been living in the Last Days since the outpouring of the Spirit. One of the things that you and I need to position ourselves for is every benefit and blessing that comes with the outpouring. We’ve talked about tongues. We’ve talked about prophecy. There’s certain things we’re comfortable with but I feel like the Lord is bringing us into more! And that’s one of the things I wanted to talk about Jamie is I feel like God’s first language is not Hebrew, it’s not Greek, it’s not English. There are many different languages that God speaks!
JAMIE: Totally!
LARRY: So from your experience as one who operates in the “see-er” anointing, as one who perceives from the Lord and who’s had a variety of supernatural experiences, can you share, just talk about how many different ways that the Lord has spoken to you and maybe describe some of those.
JAMIE: Yeah. You know it’s super-interesting. I know with my physical body I have 5 senses. How many senses do I have with my spirit man? I don’t know. I haven’t really discovered every single sense with my spirit man. But I know with my soul I have my mind, my will and my emotion. God can speak to my mind. He can speak to my will. He can trigger my emotion to get into a place of obedience, to get into a place of faith. You know so with our physical man I feel, where it’s so often overlooked –
LARRY: Yeah.
JAMIE: – can God actually speak to me with my physical nature?
LARRY: Sure.
JAMIE: You know and there’s a thought the physical nature’s evil. So many people have run with that thing and almost put their physical body so far below its potential that we actually lose the ability to connect with God in a physical way!
LARRY: Well exactly! And that’s a modern form of Gnosticism.
JAMIE: Totally.
LARRY: To really denounce the body and even the soul, elevating the spirit. Yeah, that’s, I mean that’s dangerous.
JAMIE: Totally. So he says this thing in Hebrews 5:14. The writer of Hebrews he says strong meat, we all want strong meat, I don’t want to just live off the milk, I want strong meat. But how do I get that strong meat? He says strong meat belongs to those who by reason of their use have their senses exercised to discern between good and evil. Well by reason of practice! So are we practicing with our senses the discernment between good and evil?
LARRY: Yeah, yeah.
JAMIE: And this is part of the “see-er” realm or the “see-er” way is actually using your senses or your members of your body to see what it is that God is doing, hear what it is that God is doing, smell what it is that God us doing, taste what it is that He is up to. You know so there’s different ways that we can identify what it is that He is doing. And if we have our senses honed in that we could practice this we could feel what it is that He is doing.
LARRY: Yeah. Yeah.
JAMIE: You know have you ever been in a moment,
LARRY: where you’re praising God, you’re worshipping and then all of a sudden you feel a gust of wind?
LARRY: Yeah, yeah.
JAMIE: And you’re looking around is the fan on?
LARRY: Sure.
JAMIE: Is there an A/C that just kicked on? You know you’re trying to understand this. I’m not talking about you’re outside. But you’re inside. You’re indoors. You’re praying. You’re worshipping. Maybe a song comes on that you know really connects you to the Father and you’re feeling this moment and all of a sudden you feel this wind.
LARRY: Yeah, yeah.
