Sid: What about you are you lukewarm? Well you keep listening to this show this week and I believe the anointing that the manifest presence of the living God is just going to pour out of this radio and just grab you and touch you and revitalize you, revive you; cause you to stop being so backslidden and come to your senses because we’re living in the most exciting the greatest time in the history of planet earth. Where the world is trying to figure out what’s going to happen next? What’s going on with this terrorism? What’s happening to the world? What’s going to happen to our economy? God’s got it all under control and we’re coming into the greatest move of God’s Spirit in the history of mankind.
The exact timing as to where we are right now can be found in the Prophet Joel. In the Prophet Joel we read about a time in history that looks very much like today. Starting in the third chapter “For behold in those days and at that time when I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem I will also gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. And I will enter into judgment with them there on account of My people, My heritage Israel whom they have scattered among the nations. They have also divided up My land.” There’s a time in history God says where Jews will return to a land called Israel and the nations will be very jealous. These same nations that were used by the devil to scatter the Jews will be very jealous when the Jews return to Israel. God says “I am very upset with what you have done to My people My Jewish people.” God says “I’m very upset because you have divided up My land.” So when you see the world trying to muscle Israel into dividing up the land that God gave to the Jewish people and some of you perhaps are not aware of that.
Let me read a couple of scriptures because there are so many. Turn to Genesis chapter 13 right now let’s establish what God just said there in Joel. Genesis chapter 13 verse 14 “And the Lord said to Abram after Lot had separated from him ‘Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are now. Northward, southward, eastward, and westward for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever.’” Forever is a pretty long time.
Take a look at the next chapter the 15th chapter and this is the great covenant chapter in which God says to Abraham “‘Look at the stars your descendants will be as many as them,’ and Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him as righteousness.” Then He says in the 7th verse “I give you this land,” 8th verse and he said “Lord God how shall I know that I will inherit it?” Then God says “I want you to bring some animals slice them down the middle and we’re going to establish a covenant in reference to the land.” This is an unusual covenant because rather than the 2 parties walking between the 2 animals that have been sliced in half. God doesn’t call for this He literally puts Abraham to sleep and it says in the 17th verse “There appeared a smoking oven and a burning torch that passed between these pieces.” Who was that smoking oven? Who was that burning torch? The same pillar of fire that was moving over the children of Israel, it’s the same fire at Mount Sinai, it’s the fire of the living God. In the 18th verse this is what the covenant was established on “On the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram saying ‘To your descendants I have given this land.’” Then it lists the exact geographical areas.
Now I can go on and on but I think perhaps the best scripture that explains the covenant on the land is found in the 105th Psalm. It’s kind of like a summary if you turn Psalm 105. Let me read this to you 7th verse “He is the Lord our God His judgments are in all the earth. He remembers His covenant forever.” The word which He commanded for a thousand generations, the covenant which He made with Abraham and His oath to Isaac, and confirmed it to Jacob for a statute. To Israel for an everlasting covenant saying “To you I will give the land of Canaan as the allotment of your inheritance.” So how long has He had this covenant? He says “A thousand generations.” If you don’t like that the verse before says “His covenant is forever.” There is no way you can change that.
Now going back to Joel you can see that God says… makes a little more sense when I read it now after having read those scriptures to you. God says “I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat (that’s Joel 3:2) and I will enter into judgment with them there (why?) on account of My people, My heritage Israel whom they have scattered among the nations they have also divided up My land.”
You know in the New Testament we find that same prophetic word from Jesus. Yeshua says in Matthew chapter 25 verse 40 “That the nations will be divided up just as a shepherd separates goat from sheep.” It’s very easy to tell the difference between a goat and a sheep, that’s how nations will be judged in the last days.
By the way, a goat nation is one that has a mind of its own like a goat, and a sheep nation follows the shepherd. There will be one single dividing issue, just as Joel says it’s on account of My heritage Israel and dividing up the land, that will be the area of judgment. Matthew says one area of judgment will be involved whether a nation is a goat nation, cursed by God, or a sheep nation blessed by God.
It says in Matthew 25:40 “As you have done unto the least of these my brethren you’ve done unto Me.” The word brethren if you look that up in the Greek it says “From the womb.” So Yeshua is saying “As you have done unto the least of these My brothers from the womb, the physical Jew, you’ve done unto Me.” So how does that all fit in? Well look at Genesis 12:3 God says “I will bless those who bless the Jewish people, and I will curse those who curse them.”
I believe that when you see the United States muscling Israel dividing up the land that God has given unconditionally forever to His ancient chosen people you’re going to see the blessings of God lift from this country. But at the same time that you see the nations trying to muscle Israel into dividing up the land you’re going to see the greatest outpouring of God’s Spirit in history.
It says “At that time when the land is divided there is a going to be an outpouring of God’s Spirit.” He calls it the former rain and the latter rain. Here it is in the 2nd chapter of Joel the 23rd verse “Be glad then you children of Zion rejoice in the Lord Your God for He has given you a former rain faithfully and He will cause the rain to come down for you, the former rain AND the latter rain in the first month.” Rain is a type of the Holy Spirit and when the former rain and latter rain for the first time in history come down together in the first month this is what will happen. The 24th verse, “The threshing floor shall be full of wheat and the vats shall overflow with new wine and with oil, and I will restore to you the years that the swarming locusts has eaten.”
Then it says in the 28th verse of that same chapter where it’s going to start. “It shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh.” Oh God pour out Your Spirit we’re so thirsty, we’re so thirsty for that double rain the former rain and the latter rain! Then it says “Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy. Your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.” Who is the you? Who is your sons and daughters? Who is your old men? Who is your young men? Who’s He talking to in the prophet Joel? The physical Jew.
So let’s put this together now, when you see the world gang up on Israel, when you see the world trying to divide up the land of Israel there will be an outpouring, a double rain if you will, the former rain and the latter rain coming down at once. There will be young Jews and old Jews supernaturally coming to the Lord.
Then in that same Prophet Joel listen to this in the 3rd chapter “Multitudes, multitudes, multitudes, I say there are multitudes in the Valley of Decision for the day of the Lord is near in the Valley of Decision.” We’re going to see…
You know sometimes you pray “God nothing seems to be going on in my life right now.” This is the time to prepare do you remember the parable of the 10 virgins, 5 wise and 5 foolish? This is time for you to be wise you need some extra oil for what’s coming on this earth and when you have that extra oil you’ll be just the 91st Psalm. “With long life I will satisfy you and show you My salvation. No disease is going to come near you.” What a wonderful Psalm but you need the word and you need the oil. You need the 2 rivers coming together, the 2 rains coming together, the word and the anointing coming together, and the Jew and the Gentile coming together for the last lap. God always reserves His champion for the last lap of a relay race.
