Sid: I’ll tell you I was red hot at the days of Elijah Conference I want to go right now to that presentation which is part of our 2 hour video which is a must viewing.
Elijah Conference:
Sid: If it is a blessing the Jewish people rejected their Messiah now I’m going to do a switch on this that I’ve never done publically before I said what Mike Brown said last night but this is what the Holy Spirit showed me. If it was a blessing that the Jewish people rejected their Messiah why would it be a blessing that the Jewish people rejected our own Messiah? Because as a result of the rejection and the violation of Moses and the Torah we were scattered to the four corners of the earth, and wherever Jewish people came and were welcomed that country was blessed. It was as if we Jewish people carried the Tabernacle of David with us to the four corners of the earth. And wherever we went when we were honored we got blessings and science, and architecture and medicine and every in economics, in every arena.
So Paul puts it this way “If it was a blessing that the Jewish people rejected their Messiah it was for the world.” In rejection it was a blessing, if it was a blessing that the Jewish people rejected their Messiah how much greater blessing when they receive their Messiah, it will literally cause life from the dead. If in rejection we bless the world what will acceptance bring what Elijah said “If the hearts of the fathers the Jewish people are restored to the hearts of the children, the Christians, there will be a great blessing on earth.” Can you see what’s at stake here?
Now something that is very confusing to many Christians is the Biblical festivals. Many Christians say “Well we’re finished we now have Christian festivals we don’t need Jewish festivals. Well let me set the record straight:
- These are not just Jewish festivals these are Biblical festivals.
- These are not just Jewish festivals and Biblical festivals God says in Leviticus 23rd chapter these are My feasts.
The word feasts in the Hebrew means appointments. These are…God is saying, now listen to this. If you had a doctor’s appointment tomorrow well #1 because you’re being healed tonight. But let’s just suppose, let’s just suppose you had a doctor’s appointment tomorrow and you had a dread disease, just suppose. Is there anything in the world that would stop you from going to that doctor? How much more an appointment with God that He calls His appointments. I like the idea of going somewhere where God promises to show up.
He goes on in Leviticus 23 to say “Not only is this my appointment with you. Anyone interested in an appointment with God? Do you have a few questions “Oh,” and the others are candidates for salvation. Oh are you sleeping, oh no. (Laughing) He says “These are not only my appointments” in Leviticus 23 but “these are holy convocations.” Do you know what convocations mean in the Hebrew? It means rehearsal. These appointments with God are rehearsals. Have you ever gone to a rehearsal in a play? How would you like to go see the rehearsal of judgment day? How would you like to see the rehearsal of the millennium, the actual rehearsal? I have got in this book the play and you see when we rejected God’s appointments (and here’s why we rejected it.) We rejected it because of religions spirit. There were some people who said “I believe that if you don’t observe the Sabbath on Friday night and Saturday; if you don’t observe Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur you’re going to hell.” That called a religious spirit. And then there are others that say “Oh you’re under the law, you are a Judaizer, I would much rather observe pagan festivals about Jesus than God’s festivals about Jesus! You’ve got a religious spirit and the 2 religious spirits just kept bumping heads. And after awhile it hurt so much they just went their separate ways.
Then you throw in the mix that Mike Brown spoke about last night of the horrible anti-Semitism by people who call themselves Christians. But God is in the process of restoring all things. You see where the Spirit is Lord is there is liberty. It’s not just you have to get in on a rehearsal with an appointment with God you should want to get into a rehearsal with an appointment with God! Do you follow the mentality the difference?
I mean I already told you tonight at the beginning that the Sabbath is Saturday. But I want you to know something that if you worship God on Sunday He’s pleased. And on Monday He’s pleased, and on Tuesday and on Wednesday, He just wants you to worship Him. But what about worshipping a festive with God and a festival that He says “I promise you I’ll show up these are my appointments with you.” Doesn’t that make sense? I mean isn’t this I don’t know it doesn’t make sense that some people think that it doesn’t make sense. You know it just doesn’t make sense that they don’t understand. It’s so clear you need help to be confused. For instance, Rosh Hashanah, Feast of Trumpets. You know what happens on Rosh Hashanah? You know what that’s a rehearsal for? The Day of Judgment, the Day of Atonement. Do you want to get in on that rehearsal? I want to get in on that rehearsal because we’ve got 10 days from Rosh Hashanah Feast of Trumpets to Yom Kippur the Day of Atonement to repent and get right with God. Well a friend of mine that is a prophet said “God showed him that we as a world are in Rosh Hashanah right now.” We are in the 10 Days of Awe and repentance. This is the time to seek the Lord. This is the time to get rid of the toys of this world. This is the time to get rid of your unholy actions such as huh! You think it’s okay to watch pornography on television. How would you like Jesus to be in the next chair with you while you’re watching pornography on television or on the internet. You think it’s okay to be addicted to drugs.
Listen Yom Kippur is coming sooner than you think cold be tonight. Your day of atonement could be tonight, Yom Kippur is Judgment Day! Those it says in Daniel “Those that are written in the Book of Life will live and have everlasting life and those that are not written in the Book of Life will have everlasting condemnation. You realize what that means that means you cannot reverse what occurs. But as of this second if you have breath in your being you can reverse your destiny; you can have your name in the book of life and please don’t say a prayer “Repent of your sins and feel good about yourself and go back to your same garbage.” Don’t bother with the prayer, but here’s where we made a mistake in the past; we haven’t understood the Hebrew way to repent.
Repentance is not turning from your sin and turning back and turning from your sin and running to the altar and repenting. It’s not this Mexican dance that I’m doing right now that’s what the church thinks it is that’s not repentance that’s religion at its stinkiest, the kind that Jesus said “I’ll vomit out of My mouth.” The kind that stops provoking anyone to jealousy, and we’re to provoke the Jewish people to jealousy, but you’re not provoking anyone with your little dance. Where’s a drummer when I need him, no I’m just teasing (Laughing). This is what Biblical repentance is Biblical repentance is an active of your will you say “God Almighty God Holy God against You and You alone have I sinned and I’m so sorry, please forgive me because of blood of Yeshua, the blood of Jesus.” I turn and I have the ability to turn I’ve been turning back and forth all night of course I have the ability to turn. “I turn from my sins.” But here’s where you made the mistake you’ve turned to yourself to be free, your repentance means to turn from your sin and turn to a Holy God who will give you the power.
Sid: That was an excerpt from my speaking at the Days of Elijah Celebration. Tomorrow you’ll hear an excerpt from Dr. Michael Brown. I wish you could have been there there was such an outpouring of God’ Spirit for healing someone was just healed right now of a neck problem.
