Sid: I’m going to tell you something; you are going to be so excited when you hear what I’m going to tell you. We just got back I’ve got Rabbi Eric Carlson on the telephone. Eric and I just got back from Siberia and have we got something exciting to tell you. But before I even get to that I want to remind you that Charisma has just published my latest book it’s called “The Race to Save the World.” They read my last book which was called “The Last Lap” and we updated it and added so many new things. I really believe that we’re about ready to experience the greatest move of God’s Spirit in the history of God’s planet Earth. I believe that this is the move of God Spirit that will usher in the return of the Messiah. We’re going to get a brand new outpouring of God’s Spirit. And as Yeshua said “The wine skins if they’re old and brittle they will not contain the glory that is about ready to be released.” And many of you have said “I feel almost a deadness in my congregation but we’re pushing, but it’s like we’re in between 2 moves of God’s Spirit.” And I believe that God has given me insight into the next move of His Spirit. And that’s where this book came from it’s called “The Race to Save the World.” It’s all about the One New Man.” And Rabbi Eric Carlson wrote in the book a chapter that’s so wonderful because he has a One New Man Congregation and his congregation they celebrate all the Biblical Festivals in freedom not in bondage. But let me read this to you about the festivals in Leviticus in Chapter 23 that deals with all the festivals. It’s says “And the Lord spoke undo Moses saying speak to the children of Israel and say unto them concerning the Feasts of the Lord.” The word feasts of you look that up in the Hebrew the word feast literally means “The appointments with God.” So it’s like God says in writing “I promise to attend when you celebrate these Feasts.” And because many people have taken these feasts and made them requirements for salvation; requirements for righteousness have put us under such bondage we’ve tossed out the baby with the dirty bath water. But God says “No, I want you to celebrate these Feasts with such excitement, such joy, because I promise to make My presence known during these Feasts.” And then He goes on to say “Which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations even these are My feasts.” So they’re not necessarily Jewish Feasts, they are God’s feasts. And therefore every Bible believer when you celebrate these holy convocations; and in the Hebrew the word convocation means rehearsal. Rehearsal of what? Well these God Feasts or these God appointments are rehearsal of the first coming of the Messiah. And why wouldn’t you want to use the platform for the first coming of the Messiah that God put in His scriptures to celebrate that great time on planet earth when we were given opportunity to have our sins atoned for and be restored to God. Why wouldn’t you want to celebrate the shadows of the reality? But the thing is, how would you like to get in on a dress rehearsal of His return. And that’s what it is it’s a rehearsal; it’s a holy rehearsal and God says “These are My Feasts these are My set appointments that I will make an appointment and I will appear. And so the One New Man Congregations, and I explain in my book “The Race to Save the World” about this new move. We need the new wineskin the old wineskins which has been evolved through religion and tradition are just not going to hold the glory that God that’s about ready to be poured out. And Rabbi Eric I know that every year your congregation takes these Feasts and they don’t do it because they have to they don’t do it because it’s a requirement for salvation. Why does your congregation celebrate these feasts Eric?
Eric: Sid, these Feasts are such a spectacular time every year; God is present. As you said “These are His days and He reaches out to meet us in supernatural ways during this time like no other time during the year. And people come when we celebrate these they come with an expectation that God is there and the miraculous will happen. These are times of great joy, of great celebration. We search and seek for God all the time and during these periods He’s there; He’s here and He meets us. And we celebrate these with such joy and with such love. We’ve had so many miracles happen; so many healings; so many reconciliations; that the word gets out we don’t have to advertise. People know that God is going to be there on these Feasts days and they come to worship the God of Israel with all of their might and with all their soul. He in turn because the scriptures say that “He resides in the praises of His people. And He is here and this a fantastic time just to celebrate; just to worship. And even historically we know that these times were great moves of God throughout history. And Alfred Edersheim even writes that in Jerusalem that they had 4 lamp stands that stood four stories tall; the city was lit up all night long. And for 7 days the children of Israel would dance and worship unto the God of Israel. And this is the same thing that we do in our congregation here, but now it’s not just the children of Israel it’s the Jew and Gentile. For we have so much to celebrate for Yeshua has come and brought us together as one. He’s torn down the wall of separation and we come in these Festivals and we worship the God of Israel together because we’re joint heirs. And God moves mightily on these Feast days.
Sid: I mean God must have been waiting so long for the Jew and the Gentle to be one new man in the Messiah. You see the Jew brings something to the church that is…the Bodies incomplete without the Jew. And the Gentle brings something to the church and the Body is incomplete without the Gentile. Now some of the things, and we go into detail in the book, is the Jew has been called by God; has a special anoint11ing to reach the Gentile. It says “The Jews are to be a light to the Goyim, a light to the nations.” And a lot of Jewish people say “Well we Jews don’t evangelize we don’t proselytize.” Well that’s what a Jew was created to do; to proselytize the whole world to be believers of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Now on the other hand the Gentle Christian call is found in Romans 11:11. “Salvation has come to the Gentile to provoke the Jew to jealousy.” The call of the Gentile is to provoke the Jew to jealousy. Now Gentles observing Biblical Feasts with a freedom of God’s Spirit and with miracles taking place will provoke Jews to jealousy. But Jews and Gentiles together celebrating these Feasts will cause a literal explosion in the Holy Spirit. Now I’d like you take one of the Feasts Eric that in the past your congregation has celebrated and tell us how you did that.
Eric: Let’s pick Sukkot because that the one just coming up, the Feast of Tabernacles. We go back and tell scripturally what the Bible about Sukkot; what it’s purpose is and what the Lord asks us to do. And it’s surprising that there’s almost no liturgy, almost no religion. There’s very few things that God does these things as a remembrance. And the feast of Tabernacles or Sukkot God says that this is an appointed time to remember how He took care of the wandering of the children of Israel in the desert. And it’s a time to build a little tabernacle a little booth outside and to eat your meals in it and to celebrate. But celebrate is the key word there because as we come together we pray and we ask the Holy Spirit to show us what to do during these Feasts days. We always take a outreach approach to these and we say “Lord show us how you wish us to celebrate and Holy Spirit teach us what we should do.” The Holy Spirit will reveal and tell us the direction of how to celebrate these Feast Days. I’ll pick last year for instance we set up a Sukkot booth in the sanctuary in the place that we meet and we came together with some worship with some song and with dance. In the middle of worship as we come into this and this is what the Lord has showed us is that through worship He resides again in the praises of His people and He will be present. And as the people worship and dance unto the God of Israel, the Holy Spirit just descends and the people begin to be healed; and the people begin to be touched supernaturally. And even this goes on for weeks afterwards; it’s actually the beginning of the spark of revival as God is there. We had people that got raises in their jobs; we had people that got new jobs. We got relationships that were restored. And all of this just because we came before the God of Israel and celebrated it in His appointed time as He asked us to do. So like last year it was just complete celebration; it was just complete worship and God loved it and He just came down and met us and the miraculous occurred.
Sid: And another thing that I mentioned and it’s so true is that these are rehearsals of His first coming. The second group of Feasts from Leviticus chapter 23 are rehearsals of history before it takes place, it’s His second coming. You know Eric let’s table this discussion just for a moment because on yesterday’s broadcast I’m going to get a lot of people upset. I was talking about the great end-time revival that the great Missionary to China, Dr. Hudson Taylor saw in 1885. And let me read this to you because he literally saw World War I; he literally saw World War II, and he just stopped and he had this vision of World War I and World War II. And then he saw the great spiritual awakening the world had ever seen. Let me read this to you this quote from his words. “I’ve see a vision; I saw in this vision a great war that would encompass the whole world. I saw this war recess and then start again actually becoming two wars. After this I saw much unrest and revolts that will affect many nations. I saw in some places spiritual awakenings. In Russia I saw that there will come a General all encompassing national spiritual awakening so great that there could never be another like it. From Russia I saw the awakening spread to many European countries. And then I saw an all out awakening; followed by the coming of Messiah.” And what is so exciting Mishpochah is that Hudson Taylor said that this would take place in the center of Russia. Guess what city is the center of Russia? Krasnoyarsk, Siberia. That’s were Eric and I were and we saw things and heard things which we’ll explain to you on tomorrow’s broadcast that lead me to believe that we are at the beginning of the reign of the greatest revival the world has ever seen. But it’s time for your wineskin to change; I don’t want you to miss what God is about ready to do. It’s way to beyond what religion has contained God to. This anointing is going to be so great. I call it the One New Man anointing. Let me read to you what Pastor Larry Huck had to say on my book… “Sid’s insights are powerful and illuminating. They reveal that we must bridge the gap and tear down the dividing walls between Christians and the Jewish people to release the end time power of God to the entire world.”
